The Adventures of "Pete- The Pretty Panda"

Hi Friends,      It's been such a long time since I posted. Sorry for that. I may have been a tiny bit busy visiting the world! Every summer I try to visit a place that I've never been to before. This summer that place was- Ireland! Have you been? Well if you haven't, I would definitely recommend visiting such a lush and super awesome place. Not to mention the nicest people you'll ever meet live there! I felt sooo welcomed and at home during my stay in Ireland. Sure there are bad apples here and there, but you'll find those anywhere. Hola Friends,    Sorry I missed you last week. I can be forgetful at times. How have you guys and gals been? I hope the weather from wherever you are is treating you well. The weather in my town of Old San Juan has been awesome! It's been awesome for a long stretch lately. The kind of perfect weather for going to the beach. It's very much known for it's awesome beach and corals with fishes that are perfect for snorkeling. Thank goodness I had bought this awesome snorkeling mask from Amazon.com. Yes, it was one of the things I bought from that night of over shopping! I just kept this one. The rest has been returned and I've got money in the bank again. So all is well! Hi Friends,    How are my Pretty friends this week? I'm doing great too! For the most part. Let me fill you in on great part of my week. Then we can talk about the not-so-great part. Deal? Great! So this week started with the weekend. It was pretty fun and Amazing! I hung out with my best pal, Al the Koala. We went dancing- fun story for another time, we went back to the Best Brunch place I told you about, and we ended the weekend with a relaxing tv marathon of our favorite show. Hola Friends,    I know it's only been a week, but it feels like it's been sooo long since my last adventure. I sure did miss you! Okay first thing's first. You may be wondering about last week's drastic makeover that didn't go so well. I am happy to say that I am back to the Pretty Panda that you know and love. No more trump hair! I learned a lot from that adventure, mainly that I need to be better at speaking Spanish ASAP. Also, I learned that worrying too much about the way you look harms you more than it helps. Hola Amigos,   That's Spanish for "Hi, Friends". Yes, I am getting better at speaking Spanish day by day. Two thumbs up! Well, actually, I am learning out of dire necessity. Let me explain. Although the lovely people here in my new home of Puerto Rico speak English, I've found that a lot of them don't or speak very little of it. It has generally been okay for me so far. I've learnt that vendors say the same things to you and I've mastered the various responses for those questions in Spanish. It wasn't until today that I realized I have been living in a house of cards. Not like an actual house of cards, although that would be so cool, but in a more "metaphoric" way. Hi Friends,    How is everything on your end of the screen? It has certainly been very thrilling on this side. I just had the Best Burger a Pretty Panda has ever had this week. Hi Friends,   Boy has it been a fun week! Yesterday I got to go to the beach again. That makes makes my beach count- 3. I am on a roll. The day started off hot. The beautiful sun was shining full force in the city. I woke up, brushed my teeth, took a much needed shower and spent some quality time watching the cool looking tourists from all over the world on the balcony. It's a pretty sweet view from up there. You see, the city I live in is very small and steep. It's an uphill slope from one end to the other and the balcony is near the top so you can see almost every street below. I wish you could see it, it's perfect!    Anyway, after I did some cleaning up, I decided to call my buddy, Al. He has been friends with me for a long, long time now. He is my best friend. Hi There, My name is Pete.    I am a Panda. I used to live in the beautiful land of Chicago, well except in the winter when it turns into a frozen tundra. Which makes it a perfect home for a Polar Bear, but not a Pretty Panda. I remember so many times when I would feel not so pretty anymore, because it had gotten so cold that i couldn't feel my face. You can't tell if you're smiling pretty, if you can't feel your face. That's the honest to God truth!   Oh I could go on and on about the horrors of the cold in Chicago. Just Awful!
